This action is to prevent the spread of coronavirus and adhere to the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam’s recent mandate to deny permission for all flights to/from China. This is a force majeure as all airlines must comply with the requirements of their superintending bodies.
VNA and JPA Alter Operational Plan Regarding Flights Between Vietnam and China to Prevent the Spread of Coronavirus (Cre: Yeu may bay).
Under this circumstance, VNA and JPA will continue to coordinate closely with competent authorities and related departments to monitor the situation and take the most optimal measures to serve the interests of passengers. The airlines will update on solutions for bringing Vietnamese citizens from China, Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong back to Vietnam in press releases to come.
