VNA Job Fair at DAD – Successfully Advise and Recruit High-Quality Workforce

This is the 2nd Job Fair in 2019 organized by the CabinCrew Division, following the 1st Job Fair Program previously held in Can Tho.

Attending the event were leaders of the Employment Service Center of Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue Province, representatives from Quang Nam University, and more than 300 youths and students in Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue, and Quang Nam who came to the event for recruitment information on various positions.

During the event, various units under Vietnam Airlines (consisting of the CabinCrew Division, Flight Training Center, Viet Flight Training, Vietnam Airport Ground Services Co., Ltd. [VIAGS], Jetstar Pacific Airlines JSC., Aviation Labor Supply, and Import-Export JSC.), have helped create a distinctively ‘Vietnam Airlines atmosphere,’ directly provide information on jobs ranging from pilots, aircraft technicians, flight attendants, passenger service staff, flight coordinators, flight schedulers, and airport service staff. The cabin crew organized the Vietnam Airlines flight attendant application process by screening the regulatory criteria and interviewing more than 100 candidates, thereby prequalifying nearly 50 candidates for the next rounds.

Youths and students participating in the job fair were enthusiastically advised by VNA Group’s staff (Cre: CabinCrew Division).

On this occasion, the units participating in the festival awarded eight scholarships to students who had outstanding achievements from the Da Nang University of Economics, Da Nang University of Foreign Languages, and Quang Nam University. Each scholarship was worth VND 5 million-plus one domestic round-trip flight ticket operated by Jetstar Pacific Airlines.

Aside from recruitment, youths and students were also excited to participate in a contest named “Be a Vietnam Airlines staff,” testing their knowledge of Vietnam Airlines’ services with attractive prizes such as round-trip domestic flights and valuable gifts.

The success of Vietnam Airlines Job Fair has contributed to Vietnam Airlines “build up a high-quality, professional and dedicated human resources of flight attendants, pilots, and ground staff to meet requirements in light of integration and development in the industry,” quoted Mr. Duong Quan Nhan – Deputy Head of CabinCrew Division delegation at the opening ceremony. Besides, it shows the public transparency, fairness, and objectivity in recruiting employees and flight attendants at Vietnam Airlines.
