Also, according to Mr. Dang Minh Viet, among these 1,300 passengers, 400 were changing their course from Korea to Hanoi. After 14 days of quarantine and upon receiving the certificate of quarantine completion, the passengers were transported back to Hanoi by Vietnam Airlines in coordination with the military academies. All of these flights were provided at no charge to the passengers.
“After reviewing the list, Vietnam Airlines actively contacted the passengers to inform them that we would support them with flight tickets from Can Tho to Hanoi. For passengers quarantined at the Tien Giang Military Academy, if they wanted, they could still fly from Tan Son Nhat Airport free of charge.
There might be some errors in the review process, but the passengers only need to call and inform us of the ticket number of their flight, we will update our system and allocate a flight for the passengers right away,” said Mr. Dang Minh Viet, adding that since the 15th of March, Vietnam Airlines had conducted four flights to bring over 200 passengers who have completed their 14-day period of quarantine, from Can Tho back to Hanoi. To provide the best services to passengers, Vietnam Airlines worked with the airports to open the check-in counter to check in their baggage before the designated time.

Arriving at the Can Tho International Airport really early, Mrs. D. T. H (a resident of Hanoi) shared that after returning from South Korea, she was brought to the Military Academy of the Military Region 9 (Soc Trang Province) to be quarantined.
“I called to reserve a ticket, but I was informed that Vietnam Airlines would provide us with free flights. I was so surprised and elated. In Can Tho, we received proper treatment and transportation during the quarantine time we were well-taken care of. After the quarantine period, the military arranged transportation for us to go to Can Tho, then Vietnam Airlines brought us back to Hanoi. I am so grateful,” said Mrs. H.
