The first flight on Danang – Osaka route was VN336 departing from Da Nang International Airport at 00:20 and landing at Osaka Airport at 07:00 on October 28th (local time), taking about 4 hours 30 minutes. Passengers on this flight were presented a special welcome ceremony at the boarding gate.

With the frequency of 7 flights per week, the new Da Nang – Osaka route is operated by Airbus A321 with 4-star service quality. Daily flights depart from Da Nang at 00:20 and from Osaka at 09:30.
To celebrate this new route, from 28 Oct 2018 to 31 Jan 2019, LotuSmile members will be awarded 2,000 miles for Business Class and 1,000 – 1,500 miles for Economy class when they fly this route.

VNA's new route will provide more options and benefits for passengers from both Vietnam and Japan in the scheme of growing bilateral relations between Vietnam and Japan. The number of Japanese tourists who visit Da Nang has increased more than 18 times in just 6 years (2011 to 2017).
With the newly opened Da Nang-Osaka route, VNA has raised the total number of routes between Vietnam and Japan to 11, reaffirming an important role in connecting the two countries.
