“Kid’s Corner” includes children’s books, wooden toys, kids’ cutlery, high-chairs and kid activity packs (Cre: Plaza Premium Lounges).
Variations of the initiative are available in Plaza Premium Lounge locations around the globe including Singapore; Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in Cambodia; Vancouver, Toronto and Edmonton in Canada; Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Penang, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching in Malaysia; Taipei in Taiwan; London in UK; Brisbane and Melbourne in Australia.
The move was a result of research showing almost two-thirds of the children that visit the Plaza lounges are under six years old.

A more ambitious dedicated kids’ zone, known as Playroom, was launched last month in Helsinki and offers educational toys made of sustainable materials by international toy maker, Masterkidz.
The company’s Australian lounges in Brisbane and Melbourne will be rolling out elements of the family-first initiative in time for the school holidays and are offering a “KidsForFree” deal for children aged two to 11 until August 31.
The company says the deal offers a family of four savings of more than 40 percent but notes it is valid for online booking only.
Plaza Premium Lounges are available at more than 35 major international airports and allow travelers to buy lounge access regardless of which airline they are traveling on or class of travel.
They offer amenities such comfortable seating, food, beverages, showers private resting suites and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The company also manages lounges for a number of airlines and the SkyTeam alliance.
Pricing and opening times vary depending on location. In Melbourne, for example, access to the international departures lounge for two hours costs $US45 or $US52 for five hours.
In Toronto, the Terminal 1 international departures lounge costs $US43 for two hours, $US52 for three hours and $US69 for six hours.
The London Heathrow Terminal 5 departures lounge is more expensive at $US53 for two hours and $US87 for five hours.
