When it comes to Dalat, many of us are immediately enthralled by visions of the city’s endless carpets of flowers in full bloom; misty dawn landscapes; or calm, rippling lakes that evoke famous poems. However, the ‘City of Romance’ has more to offer. Visitors lucky enough to come here in late November are mesmerized by pink fields that change their perceptions of this city.

As winter approaches, grasses come into bloom and burst into shades of pink. At dawn, lingering frost seems to drape entire hillsides in a soft snowy veil. The peeping highland sun shines dappled light through stoic pines, while mist hovers on the lakes, making the landscape even more eerily enchanting, just like a glimpse of heaven.
