When it comes to Dalat, many of us are immediately enthralled by visions of the city’s endless carpets of flowers in full bloom; misty dawn landscapes; or calm, rippling lakes that evoke famous poems. As winter approaches, grasses come into bloom and burst into shades of pink. At dawn, lingering frost seems to drape entire hillsides in a soft snowy veil. The peeping highland sun shines dappled light through stoic pines, while mist hovers on the lakes, making the landscape even more eerily enchanting, just like a glimpse of heaven.
