Vietnam Airlines and the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hanoi on Tuesday (October 22nd), allowing them to make the most of their respective strengths to broaden development.

According to the agreement signed, VNPT will provide Vietnam Airlines with digital transformation solutions with the most advanced technologies, in view of the construction of Enterprise 4.0.

VNPT is ready to set up a real-time production analysis and management system, to deploy technological solutions and applications in business administration such as eOffice, HRM, CRM and ERP, and the management and data analysis.

Vietnam Airlines and VNPT also collaborate in the fields of cybersecurity, research and investment for the development of services such as electronic payment, advertising and communication.

Positioning itself internationally as a young and modern airline, Vietnam Airlines has developed a network of 21 destinations across the country and 28 international destinations in the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia.

The national carrier plans to expand its fleet to 150 aircraft by 2020, making the Lotus Flower Company one of the region’s major carriers, deeply rooted in traditional Vietnamese culture.
