Marking the third straight year the LSO has been back to Hanoi, the event brings together roughly 100 talented artists with rare and vintage instruments, promising to bring the highest artistic resonance to the Capital’s citizens and visitors. There will be 8 performances from LSO, starting with the national anthem of Vietnam, then 7 works by international composers. Particularly, Hanoi audiences who experienced an apex of profound emotions when watching the performance by conductor Niklas Benjamin Hoffmann in 2017 and Elim Chan in 2018 can continue to expect an excellent, and emotional musical night this year as led by conductor Sir Simon Rattle – a legend of the world’s classical music industry who was honored at the Classic Brit Awards.
Vietnam Airlines Classic – Hanoi Concert 2019 will take place from 19:00 to 21:00 on October 5 at Ly Thai To Square, Hanoi. In order to bring the concert to the public, the organizer will broadcast the event on two 400-inch LED screens located on Dinh Tien Hoang Street and Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.
With the event, Hanoi and Vietnam Airlines aim to connect the Capital residents and tourists to the world music industry, while simultaneously promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people as open and music-loving, as well as promoting Hanoi – the city with one thousand years of civilization and its unique pedestrian street space to international friends.
