According to the Vietnam Airlines China Branch, over the past few days, the branch’s staff have continued to work with high spirits and have made every effort to ensure that all flights are safe, while also staying updated and promptly reporting on new policies of the China Aviation Administration and airport authorities to address any crisis caused by the virus to passengers. On top of that – despite it being the holiday season – the ticket counter staff were readily available every day to process tickets refunds and exchange requests from passengers.

As there is a shortage in medical face masks, the Branch has sent authorities at Chinese airports extra masks for infection prevention. This practical action from the Branch was highly appreciated by the Chinese airport authorities.

Since news of the coronavirus outbreak, the Branch leaders have regularly provided employees with specific guidance on disease prevention for their own safety and for that of the company and its staff. In addition, colleagues in the China Branch have also been advised to consume healthy portions of fruits and vegetables to strengthen their immune systems further.

In Beijing – as noted by Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh of the Beijing office – the life of the people here is somewhat quieter after the local government’s recommendation of minimizing public transportation usage. However, all daily activities are still conducted as usual, though with the addition of medical face masks and other personal protective gear.
