Connecting for success at the Reservation and Ticketing workshop for overseas branch offices and General Sales Agents

In continuation to the workshop for VNAers within Vietnam, Marketing and Sales Department in cooperation with other VNA Departments successfully organized the “The Reservation and ticketing workshop” for Overseas Branch Offices and General Sales Agents (GSA).

Marketing and Sales Department in cooperation with other VNA Departments successfully organized the “The Reservation and ticketing workshop” for Overseas Branch Offices and General Sales Agents (GSA).

“The Reservation and ticketing workshop” in English was resumed after more than two years of interruption by Covid19 pandemic. More than 80 global VNAers  representing for VNA overseas branch offices such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, The Great Britain, Australia, France, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Campuchia… and GSA from offline markets had chance to network, sharing experiences, update commercial policies.

Given that the international flight networks are being in the early stage of recovery, GSA staffs encountered many obstacles to participate the workshop such as applying Vietnam entrance Visa, finding suitable routes. However the workshop archived outstanding success by recording the first times attendance of India GSA, Sri Lanka GSA, Israel GSA, The United Arab Emirates  GSA…

Besides the same contents presented at the workshop for Vietnamese VNAers such as updates on Post-Covid commerce policy, Branded fare,  reservation and pre-flight check manual, schedule changed and centralized flight management process, changes in Ticketing Manual and Ticketing Handbook, in this workshop, Transit tour policies, E-marketing policies were amended to the agenda. With the rapidly increasing in the volume of international passengers, Transit tours are accessed by attendees as an in-time and necessary update.

Digital Marketing Department brought to the workshop with updated information’s about measures on e-marketing of Vietnam Airlines: the policy of cooperation and connection with e-wallets, e-commerce platform to sell air tickets and ancillaries, ancillary products and services and especially digital-based products, policy of customer identification program for enterprises, customer care for online purchases, cooperation with foreign branches to develop Vietnam Airlines’s e-commerce.

The workshop provided the overseas staffs the valuable opportunity to be updated comprehensively and discussed in-depth with colleagues on VNA commercial policies, tariff and ticketing regulations.

The workshop provided the overseas staffs the valuable opportunity  to be updated comprehensively and discussed in-depth with colleagues on VNA commercial policies, tariff and ticketing regulations. Many questions and suggestions from VNA overseas staff members were raised and openly discussed during the workshop.

Receiving positive responses and compliments from attendees for the workshop hosted by Marketing and Sales Department, Deputy General Manager Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam is highly appreciated the contribution of VNA overseas staffs and expressed the strong belief that with the tightly cooperation and the great efforts from VNA staffs and partners, VNA will strongly recover and get success in competitive international markets.
