It was an honor and moment of pride for the 18 students who were selected and dispatched by the Corporation’s management to study at Massey University—currently, one of the top five universities in New Zealand.

With modern teaching methodology and a diverse curriculum, students were able to not only improve their English to international standards but also to acquire many essential skills to effectively contribute to their work, such as presentation skills, improved teamwork, time management strategies, problem-solving tactics, and better business writing skills.

Following the direction of CEO Duong Tri Thanh (at the meeting before sending these students to attend an advanced English training course in New Zealand–over the course of more than a month studying in the 4NL class), students need to give their best effort in learning, as well as proactively performing activities to introduce the country, culture, and people of Vietnam to its international friends. The students always show their professionalism, proactively exchange and adapt, expressing the spirit of Vietnam’s 4-star Flag Carrier.

Present in the congenial atmosphere was also a representative of the school and their teacher. At the beginning of the meeting, representing the 18 students, Mr. Dang Ngoc Truong – the class monitor, expressed his sincere thanks to the Ambassador and the representative of the school. Despite his busy schedule, the Ambassador took the time to travel from Wellington to Auckland to attend the meeting. This was not only an honor for VNA in general but also an unsurpassable encouragement to all students in attendance.

At the meeting, the Ambassador had an intimate and sincere conversation when introducing more about the New Zealand cuisine, features of New Zealand culture, and his thoughts on the strategic partnership between the two countries, and he wished the students to have incredible experiences in New Zealand and to study meticulously. Ambassador Ta Van Thong also sent his best wishes to the Corporation’s management team as well as all the staff, and he wished VNA continued motivation to spread its wings and fly higher to new horizons and more successes.

The representative of the school was very grateful and highly appreciated the significance of the meeting, helping them to understand more about “The spirit of Vietnam” – the power of solidarity and the eagerness to learn more about the Vietnamese people. As a teacher who puts in great effort to directly depart knowledge onto them, Ms. Margaret also expressed her appreciation to the enthusiastic, hard-working, and inspired learning spirit of the VNA students—which made very distinct impressions on her and the school in previous years.

Also at the meeting, the willowy “ao dai” of Vietnamese women and VNA’s brand colors were worn , demonstrating the distinctive cultural identity of Vietnam and the pride of being a part of the VNA family.

The representative of Class 4NL also respectfully presented the Ambassador with an aircraft model of VNA – a small but meaningful gift, with the hope that the Ambassador would continue to support VNA in the future.

On this occasion, for VNA students, meeting the Ambassador, the representative of the school, and the students of the school was a meaningful activity in order to comprehensively promote Vietnamese culture to New Zealand. At the same time, this was an opportunity to introduce more information about VNA, and it’s fleet and strategies to the Ambassador.

The expansion in cooperation and collaborated training with international schools will create advantages for the Corporation in creating high-quality labor resources, meeting the needs of sustainable development in the Corporation’s long-term strategies.
