This program is exclusively for Lotusmiles members purchasing tickets on the website or at ticket offices of VNA. The carrier is working on the implementation of this payment method on the mobile application.
Accordingly, starting from just 2000 Lotusmiles miles per passenger per flight, members can use miles to pay for a part or all of the flight ticket’s value for flights operated by VNA (not applicable for payment of taxes, fees, and additional costs). The value of the miles used for the payment depends on the time of purchase, departure date, itinerary and booking class.
VNA launches Cash & Miles payment method for flight tickets (Cre: VNA).
In addition, members can use cash and miles to buy a ticket for an accompanying passenger if they share a reservation code, select the seat in advance and purchase checked baggage during the payment process.
To increase the benefits for members, tickets bought in cash and miles are still eligible for miles accumulation in accordance with the policy of VNA’ Lotusmiles program. Thus, each flight is always a new investment for passengers to accumulate miles to be redeemed later.
The cash and miles payment method has been implemented by many major airlines in the world like Emirates (UAE), Lufthansa (Germany), Delta Air Lines (US), Thai Airways (Thailand), EVA Air (Taiwan) etc. The implementation of this unique payment method allows VNA’ passengers to buy tickets at attractive prices to enjoy VNA’ 4-star services.
In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Lotusmiles program, VNA offers 2000 bonus miles for all passengers registered to be a new member in September 2019 and on the date 20th of each month until December 31st 2019. This is a good start for passengers to fully enjoy the perks of the Lotusmiles as well as Cash & Miles program.
