Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific have actively prepared numerous measures to support and protect passengers’ rights. Specifically, the two airlines have waived flight change fees/refund fees for passengers flying to or from Chinese cities from 24 January 2020, until further notice.
Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific are also actively coordinating with authorities and related organizations to continuously monitor the situation, detect potential signs of suspected illness for passengers, and coordinate with airport’s medical departments to conduct screening checks.

Presently, the two airlines have communicated disease prevention and control to all employees – strictly complying with the coordination process, regulations, and instructions of the authorities. At the border gates, it is necessary to closely monitor the entry of people – especially for passengers arriving from China.
