The launch of exclusive check-in counters and boarding gates for passengers flying between Hanoi and HCMC is an unprecedented effort on the part of Vietnam Airlines to make a positive difference in its service and to offer its passengers the ease of travel.

From January 1st, 2020, exclusive check-in counters and boarding gates will be set up for flyers between Hanoi and HCMC. Should there be any seats left, passengers will also be granted the option of catching any flights departing 90 minutes earlier or less than the departure times indicated on their tickets. This new policy offers passengers on the busiest domestic route a certain degree of flexibility and has the potential to save them time.

At Noi Bai Airport, those flying from Hanoi to HCMC are exclusively served at the B1, B2, and B3 check-in counters. Likewise, at the Tan Son Nhat Airport, the B5, B6, and B7 check-in counters are reserved for those flying from HCMC to Hanoi. In addition, these check-in counters are placed in close proximity to the security checkpoints to save passengers walking time. Passengers can even save additional time by performing self-check-in via VNA’ mobile application, website, or check-in kiosks.

Moreover, the boarding gates for flights between Hanoi and HCMC are gathered in one spot, making for an easier travel experience. These unprecedented changes made by Vietnam Airlines will make a notable difference to its service and offer its passengers – particularly businessmen and frequent flyers between Hanoi and HCMC – added ease of travel.

Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific – the two subsidiaries of the Vietnam Airlines Group – are now operating the largest number of flights between Hanoi and HCMC, at nearly 40 flights a day between 5:00 AM to 10:30 PM. These flights are all either 30 minutes or one hour apart, making it easier for passengers to remember their departure times and offering them a wide range of options. It is worth noting that such new-generation wide-body aircraft such as Boeing 787-9, Boeing 787-10, and Airbus A350 operated on this route promise passengers the ultimate in comfort, superior services, and the exciting in-flight entertainment of an internationally recognized four-star carrier.
