VNA inaugurates Lotus Lounge at Danang International Airport

In its ongoing efforts to bring passengers four-star ground service at national airports, VNA inaugurated a new Lotus Lounge in a secluded area on the second floor of the International Terminal (T2) of Danang Airport on 24th September 2019.

The lounge covers an area of 420sqm and offers a maximum capacity of nearly 100 passengers. The new Lotus Lounge is the fifth business lounge to be operated by Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited (VIAGS) – a subsidiary of VNA.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Trinh Ngoc Thanh – Executive Vice President of VNA said, “Alongside Lotus Lounges at Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), the Lotus Lounge in Danang marks an improved consistency in our provision of four-star ground service quality across three regions – the North, Central and South, and reaffirms VIAGS’ and VNA’ region-leading service capability.”

Boasting a luxurious design as well as state-of-the-art facilities consistent with those in Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat Airports, Lotus Lounge in Danang caters to Lotusmiles’ Platinum and Gold tier members, plus VNA and other carriers’ Business class passengers, who are primarily flying from key markets such as Korea, Japan, China, and Thailand to Danang.

Our Lotus Lounges provide passengers with a wide range of complementary services and amenities, namely our buffet and bar counters, workstations fitted with computers connected to the web, printers, scanners, and fax machines; plus other amenities such as restrooms, massage chairs, smoking lounges, and free Wi-Fi, and entertainment media such as TV, newspapers, magazines…

The inauguration of the Lotus Lounge is part of VNA’ continual efforts to fine-tune its four-star on-ground and in-flight service quality. It is also a stepping stone for the carrier in realizing its goal of becoming the first five-star international airline of Vietnam.
