As a national carrier of Vietnam, VNA has been investing considerably into the Korean market, which is of significant importance to VNA. The traffic between Korea and Vietnam has grown exponentially in recent years. In the first seven months of 2019, traffic between the two countries increased by a remarkable 22%.

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) is an Intergovernmental Organization mandated to promote economic and socio-cultural cooperation between the ASEAN Member States and Korea. The AKC aims to increase trade volume, accelerate investment flow, increase tourism and cultural exchanges between ASEAN and Korea with an emphasis on the promotion of mutual understanding through direct exchanges. AKC Members are micro, small and medium enterprises in travel, tourism industry come from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
