On September 28th, all members of the Marketing and Sales Department, plus representatives of foreign branches, gathered in Him Lam Hall to ignite their passion for the workshop “The World is Changing and So Must You” organized by the Marketing and Sales Department.
The workshop “The World is Changing and So Must You” held by the Marketing and Sales Department sparked a lot of highly practical and creative breakthrough ideas. At the workshop were individuals who contributed dozens of excellent ideas in a short time. Notably, the workshop involved General Managers and Sales Assistants from foreign branches around the world who took part enthusiastically in the event, despite the long trip to Vietnam.

In the morning session, the speakers conducted talks under general themes of Vietnam Airlines Corporation, such as the mission, vision, strategy, and dual brand trade cooperation. The Marketing and Sales Department also contributed two topics closely related to its expertise and development orientation, i.e., “Sales Kit” and “VNA’s customer journey in the digital era.”

In the afternoon, the participants were divided into groups to discuss what had been presented. The discussion took place imaginatively with a lot of useful ideas in helping VNA become a “Digital Airline,” different initiatives to make the Sales Kit more attractive and intriguing directions for the “dual brand” strategy. One of them was the idea of selling airline tickets and ancillary service products of VNA directly through the in-flight entertainment screen of passengers, especially once there is Wi-Fi on their flight, which could help produce revenue for VNA in the context of digital conversion.
It can be said that all these ideas will be seriously evaluated and used by the Marketing and Sales Department for sales development, as well as for the formulation of strategies in times to come.
The workshop was organized to promote a sense of responsibility, initiative, and creativity as well as create a forum for each employee to speak out his/her opinion and to contribute initiatives for areas directly related to the professional sphere of the Department. The two specific topics selected were the hot topics that were most frequently discussed and had a significant influence on the business activities of VNA in general and the Marketing and Sales Department in particular.

“Like being in love, people will have more strength and creativity to always find solutions if their love is strong enough. At work, there will also be times when things are not easy. Still, we should keep the devotion, love, and enthusiasm up, so that we can find creative solutions, suitable for good completion of the set-up work and tasks,” said the Head of Marketing and Sales Department Dang Anh Tuan.

At the end of the workshop, all the employees attending the event spent their day performing effective research and learning. They understood the mission and vision of the VNA Group, and the responsibility of each employee, thereby enabling them to continue to promote creativity, innovation sense, and to contribute to the joint development of the Corporation with the spirit of “Responsibility – Initiative – Creativeness.”
