The activity belongs to the cooperation between the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province and Vietnam Airlines JSC in promoting investment, trade and tourism of the province in the period 2017-2020. Leaders of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company and representatives of Vietnam Airlines participated in the welcoming ceremony.

International tourists number 6,000,000, 5,999,999 and 6,000,001 were three special guests on VN441 flight of VNA from Seoul (Korea) to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa, landing at Cam Ranh airport at 09h25 on 06th December 2018. The six millionth international guest was Mr. Lee Sang Soo, number 5.999.999 was Mr. Lee Sang Sup, and 6.000,001 was Mrs. Han Mee Jung, all are Korean nationals. At the event, the guests were warmly welcomed by the leaders of Khanh Hoa Tourism Department, Vietnam Airlines and related units.

VNA also recorded the number of international tourists which the airline carried to Nha Trang during the first 11 months of 2018 increased by 26.9% compared with the same period, reaching nearly 400,000 visitors. This positive growth was partly due to VNA's recent launch of Nha Trang-Seoul (Korea) at the end of March, with a frequency of 4 flights per week.
