The meeting was attended by Gapura CEO I Dewa Gede Mahayana and VNA Indonesia Branch DGM Nguyen Thanh Nam.
Gapura has been cooperating with VNA since 2012 in Soekarno-Hatta, Ngurah Rai and Hasanuddin airport. Gapura provides passenger service, luggage, ground and cargo service. Over the past few years, Gapura has provided outstanding ground services for many airlines including VNA. At the recent Service Conference on 26th October, Gapura was awarded “The Best Foreign Ground Handling Company".

At the meeting in VNA’s headquarter, EVP Le Hong Ha warmly welcomed Gapura’s delegations and shared that VNA recently organized an annual service conference, an event to review the results VNA achieved thoughout 2018 as well as planning for 2019. According to branches’ report, VNA had received huge support from Garupa. In addition to “The Best Foreign Ground Handling Company" title, VNA was honored to present the Airport Performance Management Award for Gapura.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam – VNA Indonesia Branch DGM also expressed his gratitude toward the coordination and support from Gapura. Gapura has contributed a lot to many of VNA’s achievements. This can be especially seen in the recent ASIAD and PARA Games events. In August 2018, Garupa assisted VNA in transporting equipment such as sport guns and paddle pads for Vietnamese ASIAD team, as well as helped transporting fans to the stadium. At PARA Games, Gapura’s staffs once again supported Vietnamese sport delegations and prepared wheelchairs for the team.

Gapura CEO Mr. I Dewa Gede Mahayana felt flattered to be invited to VNA headquarter to receive the award. He also shared that being the "Best Foreign Ground Handling Company" was a great achievement for Gapura as well as the driving force for the company's development in the future.
"I myself was one of the members who participated in the renovation and upgrading program that helped Garuda Indonesia become the 5-Star airline two years ago. With my experience, I and Garupa will make every effort to coordinate and assist VNA to become Skytrax's 5 Star Airline in the shortest time." said CEO I Dewa Gede Mahayana. He also hoped that the six-year relationship between VNA and Garupa would develop even further.
At the end of the meeting, EVP Le Hong Ha presented the "Best Foreign Ground Handling Service" award and gifts as a token for VNA and Gapura’s relationship to Mr. I Dewa Gede Mahayana.
