When I was informed to take part in the Sales Day, my thoughts were mingled with excitement and panic at the same time because I’ve never been invited by such a big company or organization.

After arriving in Hanoi, my experience with the event started with the dinner which was to introduce and warm up our team before the upcoming big day. I never expected that so many General Managers from all other SEA branches and even Director of Sales & Marketing Mr. Tuan would be seen altogether in single place. It was an honorable moment as I introduced myself before all the gentlemen. It was anxious to be seated among such people but I was totally wrong that I would be participating formally, they were all friendly and caring. From that point I felt enjoyment and courage for the onward event days.

On the first day morning, we had a tour to Noibai Catering Service facility. Everything was new to me and all undergoing processes such as preserving, washing, preparing, packing & delivering food by machines & by personnel in the facility were interesting. We had to wear protective clothing & cleansing foreign subjects with air shower in an isolating chamber for keeping hygiene at highest level. It was really amazing and made me appreciate the hard-work just for our meals in flight.

During the event in Hanoi and Vinpearl in Ha Long, the way we discussed each topic and issue with the departments of Vietnam Airlines showed of our unity, transparency and hard-work. The most impressive thing was using the new mobile application to interact to others, sharing information and freely raising a question to the presenters. Moreover, the fact that the way the top management handled the Q&A directly with us showed how they are encouraging and being supportive. The presentations of sales team from all VNA branches including the HDQ were most inspiring, enthusiastic & entertaining among all the audience during the event, and that was all thanks to their efforts & hard-work.

Vietnam Airlines Sales Day 2019 helped us gain new knowledge, new concepts, new friendship & also made me understand our current situation and our objective in the future. I was so lucky to attend such a magnificent event, had an opportunity to meet with seniors and listened to their speeches. Wearing a Longyi traditional dress of Myanmar, I was proud to show my country uniqueness among the others and was happy to be a part of Vietnam Airlines JSC.  As an extra comment, the accommodation at 5* hotels like Daewoo Hotel & Vinpearl was very comfortable and relaxing.
