Germany Team
We, Team Germany, were looking forward to this event. In Germany Vietnam Airlines is a well-established Airline for Indochina destinations, however apart from that it is still perceived as a niche Airline with exotic culture. All the more, it was a great feeling to get a sense of what means to be a member of a strong home carrier and, moreover, to be professionally and firsthand informed about our mission and vision of the coming years.
Together with Russia, Australia and Canada team at Ha Long Bay.
This allows us to integrate all this information into our daily work. The better we can incorporate the mission and vision of our company in our daily working lives, the more professional and authentic we will be perceived on our market. And learning that the diversity of our global team with various backgrounds is considered by our top Management as the great strength of Vietnam Airlines, makes us very proud and boost our motivation to look forward to the future. We are up for the 5-star changes and exited for being a part of it!
Speaking of being part of the Vietnam Airlines family – It was great meeting our worldwide colleagues, exchange with each other and of course to be reunited with our former Managers. Seeing the unique spirits of each team, the best conclusion we can draw is that there is not one right way to sell, to work or to grow, only different unique ways that we can learn to adapt from each other.

Finally we thank the organizing team for the successful event. Visiting VAECO and NCS was very unique and interesting. Thanks for choosing the beautiful location at Ha Long Bay and setting up the stages in the hotels so glamorously, at the same time very professional with the useful “Event App”. We had a lot of fun singing and dancing along during the gala and made remarkable memories that we will keep in our hearts. Being pampered in our Business Class on the homecoming journey thanks to Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thanh, EVP Commercial, was a final highlight.
We look forward to the next Sales Day and wish all members of the Vietnam Airlines worldwide a successful and healthy year of the pig, coincidently a year about cohesion in the community, team spirit and happy gatherings! “Auf Wiedersehen” in 2020!

London Team
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who contributed to the Sales Day Event.
The whole experience was very informative; we delegates were shown Noibai Catering Services where food hygiene is paramount and had first-hand experience of the importance that is placed on preparation and cleanliness. The precautions were so strict that we now have complete faith to VN in-flight meals.
The event was very well organised and was a great opportunity to meet colleagues from offices across the world and to exchange ideas. It was also a perfect opportunity to pose questions, which in many cases were answered by senior management.

The excursion to Ha Long Bay was a very pleasant experience. Despite the weather the natural beauty of the area was an eye opener and we would recommend this to prospective visitors.
The welcoming that delegates received was genuine, which made us all feel very relaxed. The employees at the hotels were friendly and this also applies to the staff at the conference. We were pleased to learn that VN is investing in the latest technology and that new aircraft will enhance our fleet.
The London team would like to congratulate the SRO team for coming first. We all liked their presentation and they deserved to win.
All in all it was a very successful and memorable event and we are happy to have been part of it.
