A representative from VNA said this is the third regional specialty selected by VNA to serve business-class passengers on all flights apart from Luc Ngan litchi in Bac Giang province and Hung Yen longans.
Cao Phong village in the northern province of Hoa Binh is famous for oranges of great quality that have significantly boosted local incomes.
To ensure the product quality, VNA has applied supervision, inspection and quarantine procedures from gardens cultivated in line with VietGAP standards in Bac Giang and Hung Yen provinces. The harvested fruits will be kept in cool stores at temperatures ranging between 5-7 Celsius degrees before being transported to the airplanes.
Productivity increased rapidly thanks to Cao Phong’s wonderful climate and soil.
Le Hong Ha, Executive Vice President of VNA said cuisine on flights is one of the cultural features attracting visitors, especially international arrivals. VNA’s passengers will have the chance to taste Vietnam’s delicious regional specialties on its flights.
Mr. Ha emphasized that the introduction of regional specialties on the airline’s flights will strengthen connectivity between aviation products and traditional cuisine, thus elevating the national identity to both domestic and international tourists.
